Job Summary
Conduct analysis, design, and oversight for airport business applications, special systems, and internal ICT platforms throughout the system lifecycle. Evaluate existing systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, then document requirements and specify enhancements that improve workflows and service delivery. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to configure, implement, and integrate solutions while developing test plans to validate functionality and performance. Maintain comprehensive system documentation, provide end-user training, and monitor post-implementation reliability against security and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure continuous compliance with airport ICT policies and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Information Technology or related degree
- minimum of ten years related experience
- combination of eight years of related work experience and qualified certifications
- valid California Driver's license
- security clearance as required by role and TSA regulations
- Experience with airport systems (CUPPS, DCMS, EVIDS, RMS, WIFI, ACS, Communications, or Video Security Systems)
- Experience working with vendors and system integrators
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on reliability and system availability
- May require on-site presence within secure airport facilities
- May participate in after-hours support, system cutovers, or on-call rotations
Desired Qualifications
