Job Summary
Contribute to the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of a global smart manufacturing and IIoT platform connecting machines, systems, and data across production environments. Lead assigned solutions end to end, managing risks, scope, and dependencies while partnering with international teams to define scalable digital standards and integration frameworks. Analyze and standardize global target processes, data flows, and digital tools with local production, logistics, engineering, and IT organizations. Identify high-value digital use cases for production optimization, predictive insights, and energy efficiency, then develop technical specifications, perform IT testing, and create documentation. Train stakeholders on digital competencies and help deliver AI/ML use cases such as predictive maintenance and vision-based quality. Ensure stable day-to-day operation of smart manufacturing systems while embedding digital-lean principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years of professional experience in consulting or industry (automotive/manufacturing preferred) across IT, engineering, production, and/or logistics
- Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing solutions
- Familiarity with SAP, MES, and IIoT platforms
- Awareness of edge/cloud, analytics, and industrial data architecture
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel up to ~30%
