Job Summary
Conduct systems integration, information assurance engineering, and management for the Navy's AN/FPS-131A supplemental weather radar. Maintain VRAM/IAVA compliance, ACAS scanning, and STIG implementation while ensuring MDE compliance. Develop architecture for application deployment to global SWR installations and create documentation for C&A package submissions. Update configuration and patch management plans, provide data for COI applications, and support upstream OneNet integration efforts. Perform operational system administration tasks, apply STIGs, and deliver required contractual milestones. Support FISMA audits and renewals annually.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S. government security clearance at the interim secret level with secret eligibility
- Strong experience and understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux methodologies to apply patches and required implementing Security Technical Implementations (STIG)
- Strong software integration abilities to adjust OEM software settings to resolve conflicts when STIGS are applied
- Ability to write/edit/maintain basic bash scripts for remote updates, graceful shutdown
- Working knowledge of various database software including MariaDB, Postgresql and/or MySQL
- Ability to maintain a small lab network consisting of several switches, Red Hat systems with many interfaces and internal routing and multiple VLANS
- Self-starter who can progress program with minimal supervision
- Less than 25% travel
