Job Summary
Systems Analyst responsible for providing support to cloud computing needs across public/private cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS). Responsibilities include installing and maintaining cloud-based applications and on-prem infrastructure, scripting/automating tasks for Azure/AWS, documenting policies, working with engineering to implement efficient cloud-based solutions, leading cloud/on-prem initiatives per security guidelines, educating teams, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to analyze workflows, gather requirements, define alternatives, and implement solutions; experience with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON/XML) and familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). Preferred candidates have Azure/AWS experience, VMware expertise, and healthcare IT exposure, with a BA/BS in CS or related field and 2-4 years IT experience; Azure Certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
- 2-4 years IT experience
- 1-3 years experience in developing software using Python, C++
- Experience with cloud services (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of VMware, virtual machine builds, backups, and cloud operational tasks
- Ability to interact with healthcare personnel and IT leadership
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON/XML)
- Ability to work in on-call rotation and support 24/7 environment
