Job Summary
Systems Administrator responsible for designing, deploying, and operating APCON IT infrastructure across HQ, remote site, and mobile devices; supports end-users, sets up desktops/laptops/phones with Windows and Linux, maintains servers and security tools, manages network security (firewalls, VPN, content control), conducts risk assessments and vulnerability scans, monitors logs, and provides after-hours support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate Systems Administrator role
- Experience with Windows and Linux
- Experience with VMware
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Exchange Servers
- Experience with firewall configuration
- Knowledge of VLANs, LAN/WAN and IT infrastructure
- Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences
- Desirable experience with IIS, Sugar, Shoretel
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and updates
- On-call and after-hours support responsibilities
- Background check and drug screen as part of pre-employment process
