Job Summary
System Administrator in Information Workplace Services supporting classified programs in a 24x7 on-site environment. Collaborate with multiple teams to develop, implement, and maintain secure Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux infrastructure across varied classified programs. Must obtain DoD Directive 8140/8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within a reasonable time frame. Travel up to 10% to other US domestic locations. Role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain interim/constant DoD security clearance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software, configuring software applications, maintaining security compliance with Cybersecurity professionals, documenting and improving processes, and supporting end users. Start date contingent on interim clearance; role is fully on-site in MA; relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Experience with Microsoft Windows administration
- Experience with Linux operating systems administration
- Experience with patching, and security hardening
- Experience with troubleshooting computer system hardware and software issues
- Experience supporting engineering or developers in an isolated network environment
- Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within a reasonable time-frame
