Job Summary
Systems Administrator needed to maintain a stable, efficient hybrid IT environment across Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware vSphere, and Nutanix HCI. You will manage Entra ID/Azure AD and on-prem Active Directory, support disaster recovery and business continuity, automate tasks with PowerShell, monitor performance, and collaborate with distributed teams and remote users. Responsibilities include patching, system hardening, backup/DR solutions, and documenting configurations and standards while applying security best practices across servers and cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related cloud services
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and familiarity with Nutanix HCI platforms
- Strong understanding of hybrid identity, including Entra ID (Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP
- Demonstrated ability to support backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid environment
- Possess working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages to automate routine administrative tasks
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills across servers, cloud services, and virtualized workloads
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a distributed team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or Nutanix NCP are a plus
