Job Summary
Perform server administration tasks including user/group management, security permissions, and resource monitoring while maintaining essential IT operations for operating systems, applications, and hardware. Monitor datacenter health using management tools, respond to hardware issues, and maintain internal infrastructure for laptops, desktops, routers, switches, and firewalls. Interact with help desk teams to troubleshoot root causes and provide technical support, while conducting routine audits of systems and backups. Implement new software and hardware to enable faster business processes and partner with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status and achievements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with or knowledge of operating systems
- Experience with or knowledge of current equipment and technologies
- Experience with or knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery procedures
- Experience with or knowledge of system performance-monitoring tools
- Experience with or knowledge of active directories
- Experience with or knowledge of virtualization
- Experience with or knowledge of web services like O365
- Experience with or knowledge of Adobe Cloud
- Experience in project management
- Experience in application design and integration
- Experience in cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing scale distributed systems
- Creating volumes
- Assigning to servers
- Remote replication
