Job Summary
Implement system implementation, troubleshooting, and administration activities for enterprise and business-specific solutions involving conceptual and logical architecture. Manage the full lifecycle from design through deployment, including installation, training, support, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware, software, and SQL database hosts. Perform imaging, restores, and ongoing management while creating, maintaining, and communicating configurations, diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure Windows application and SQL hosts comply with security standards and work with information assurance teams for system accreditation. Analyze monitoring data to optimize performance and develop system performance monitoring processes. Create prototypes and perform technology evaluations, providing technical support for testing and evaluation. Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts and best practices for server operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or equivalent related field experience)
- 5+ years Windows server experience (2012, 2016, 2019)
- Must have a minimum of five (5) Years specialized experience in Systems Administration supporting MS SQL Server, MS System Center (SCCM), O365/SharePoint and MS Azure
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Registry, Group Policy Objects
- Proficiency scripting in PowerShell or equivalent
- Active Top Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Server or Infrastructure Certification(s) (or equivalent work experience)
- Remedy Action Request Server, ServiceNow and ITSM experience
- SQL database experience
- ITIL® Foundations certification
- Security+ certification
- Prior experience in a consulting environment
- Preference for experience with mentoring and training staff
