Job Summary
Systems Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems across client/server/storage/network devices, with focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Rocky Linux, Windows, OS installation/patching/tuning, HPC tools (Slurm, PBS, Grid Engine), and distributed file systems (Lustre, GPFS); will analyze and resolve complex problems, provide detailed feedback to management, and support hardware and mission architecture. Requires experience with HPC architectures (MPP/SMP), high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, Slingshot, Omni-Path), and security clearance. On-site roles based in Annapolis Junction, MD and Bluffdale, UT; Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years SA experience are required; multiple experience levels described (Level 1-3) with corresponding years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Level 1: At least five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Level 2: Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Level 3: Fifteen (15) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; Bachelor’s degree required.
