Job Summary
The Systems Administrator is a Senior position responsible for ensuring high availability and continuity of technology and infrastructure across multiple Data Centers in Canada. Duties include designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Centre equipment, managing virtual environments using VMware, creating and managing Active Directory resources, automating processes with PowerShell, and providing escalated support to Help Desk teams. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a professional server/systems administration role and experience in virtualized environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in server/systems administration
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting virtualized environments
- Experience with HPE hardware
- Ability to build and maintain virtual and physical servers
