Job Summary
Systems Administrator, Operational Technology responsible for Tier 2/3 production support of OT systems (SCADA, ADMS, OMS, AMI) to minimize downtime, including troubleshooting, log analysis, patch/change management, and cross-functional coordination. Lead OT software upgrades and implementation projects, coordinate testing (including UAT), and educate stakeholders on OT capabilities. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams; participate in on-call rotation; develop expertise in OT business systems and drive improvements. Requires associate or bachelor degree in CS or related field with 5+ years OT/IT infra experience (5+ years user interaction; 3+ years if alternative degree path), valid driver’s license, and pre-employment background check/drug screen. Based in Ramsey, MN with Connexus Energy, Minnesota’s largest electric cooperative; compensation range $101,100–$132,720 with an 8% target annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in computer sciences or related field
- Five or more years of hands-on OT / IT infrastructure work including systems like SCADA, ADMS, OMS
- Five or more years of direct user interaction experience
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related field
- Three or more years of hands-on OT / IT infrastructure work including systems like SCADA, ADMS, OMS
- Three or more years of direct user interaction experience
