Job Summary
Systems Administrator role focused on 24/7 on-call support for CSISS/MISP LAMP stack infrastructure hosted at SHAPE, ensuring NATO SECRET-level availability and security compliance. Responsibilities include day-to-day LAMP stack administration on RedHat, incident response within defined SLAs, applying security patches within 72 hours, producing maintenance/status reports for NCSC, managing backup/recovery and business continuity, maintaining site access and security protocols, coordinating maintenance windows with NCSC, and provisioning infrastructure for development/test environments. Essential skills include LAMP stack on Linux, RedHat, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, scripting (Bash/Python/Perl), monitoring tools (Nagios/Zabbix), security hardening, CIS benchmarks, ITIL processes, and English proficiency. Desirable certifications include RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+, with ITIL Foundation.
Required Qualifications

- MySQL/MariaDB database administration — performance tuning, replication
- Scripting: Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and monitoring
- Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, firewall rules, VPN
- IT Service Management practices (incident, change, problem management)
- RHCSA (RedHat Certified System Administrator) — mandatory or demonstrate equivalent
- CompTIA Linux+ (acceptable alternative to RHCSA if RHCE pending)
- ITIL Foundation — service management and incident response framework
- Language Proficiency: English
- Travel: Some travel to other NATO sites may be required
