Job Summary
Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 support by performing root cause analysis on enterprise systems. Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems including Windows Server and Linux across physical and virtual environments. Monitor system performance to ensure availability and security, while administering core services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Implement and manage system backup strategies, automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell or Bash scripts, and execute patching updates to maintain compliance. Requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph, BS degree, and 15 years of experience. Level 3 position with projected compensation of $175K-$225K.
Required Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Last Poly within past 7 years
- Proven experience as an L3 Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment
- Expert knowledge of enterprise operating systems, such as Windows Server and/or Linux
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls
- Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and vendors
- BS + 15 years experience
