Job Summary
Design and manage enterprise network architecture, including system-level design, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot physical and virtual network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, load balancers, and security appliances like stateful firewalls and IPSEC VPNs. Monitor TCP/IP protocol stacks, routing/switching protocols, and L2/L3 access controls while utilizing ticketing systems to track tasks in a live call environment. Support on-call requirements for network support and security boundaries. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraphs, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and a bachelor's degree plus eight years of network engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with both Polygraphs
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 8 years minimum experience OR No Degree + 10 years minimum experience OR 8 years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection
- datacenter network design and architecture experience
- installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks
- 2 years of additional relevant experience (substitutable for a bachelor's degree)

- Able to support on-call requirements
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking
- Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
