Job Summary
Conduct Tier 2 support for a 500-user, multi-state organization by resolving complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues while serving as the primary escalation resource. Independently administer Microsoft 365 E5, Entra ID, and Intune environments, managing user lifecycles, security groups, and device deployments across hybrid workforces. Support Windows Server, Hyper-V clusters, and enterprise storage while participating in after-hours rotations and disaster recovery initiatives. Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve documentation, operational maturity, and service delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive IT experience
- At least 2 years supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience in Tier 2 Help Desk, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Support
- Experience supporting hybrid workforces and remote users
- Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot
- Exchange Online and Teams administration
- SharePoint Online fundamentals
- DNS/DHCP troubleshooting and Group Policy
- PowerShell fundamentals and VPN technologies
- Endpoint security administration
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong troubleshooting methodology with ability to prioritize competing demands
- Self-motivated, accountable, and a continuous learner with strong technical curiosity
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 Administrator certification
- AZ-900 or SC-900 certification
- CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with Hyper-V and Dell server infrastructure
- Cisco networking experience
- Familiarity with Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, or similar endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with Freshservice or Zabbix Monitoring
- Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise experience
- Microsoft Copilot and PowerShell automation experience
