Job Summary
Systems Administrator Intermediate – TS/SCI required. This senior IT infrastructure role supports enterprise systems for Army Intelligence, performing software installations and upgrades, troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues, monitoring and tuning for performance, and managing backups and configurations across desktop, server, and network environments. Responsibilities include OS installations (UNIX/Windows), routine audits, incident resolution (Tier 1–2), and integrating new technologies. Requires on-site daily support at Fort Belvoir, VA, travel 10–25%, and security clearances with DoD 8570.01-M IAT II/8140 certifications; must obtain AZ104 within 180 days and may require a CI polygraph.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree
- Experience: 7+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Advanced troubleshooting skills for IT systems and infrastructure
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI
- US citizenship: Not required
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 CE Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
- IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Security+ or equivalent
- Computing Environment certification: MSCA 2016, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent (must obtain AZ104 within 180 days)
- Role requirements: Daily on-site support at the customer location
- Willingness to attain CI Polygraph for specific positions
- Travel: 10-25%
- Moderately strenuous activities to plug in cables
