Job Summary
This Systems Administrator position involves providing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support in a 24x7 production environment. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux workstations and servers, conducting system upgrades, monitoring backups, and ensuring data integrity. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with IBM and RedHat environments, as well as significant expertise in SAN systems and backup methodologies. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, a current Top Secret Clearance, and extensive knowledge of various server architectures and configurations.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience
- Current and Active Top Secret Clearance
- Mastery of AIX 7.x and RHEL 7.x operating systems
- Professional knowledge of IBM DS5000, HP 3PAR 7000 and HP 3PAR 8400 SAN architecture
- Experience with IBM TS4500 and IBM 3584 Tape libraries
- Mastery of IBM TSM installation, configuration, maintenance
- Knowledge of C7000 blade server and HP DL series
- Experience in Perl, Korn Shell and Bash shell
- Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services
- Experience with cloud computing
- Hands-on experience with packet analyzation tools
