Job Summary
Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise application hosting platforms. Troubleshoot production systems to ensure stability, performance, and availability while supporting Microsoft clustering, SQL Server high-availability, and VMware workloads. Manage SCCM-based patching, deployments, and ongoing maintenance, developing PowerShell automation for configuration management initiatives. Maintain operational documentation and participate in rotational on-call support. Based in the Toronto office with hybrid flexibility, this replacement position reports to the Manager, Systems Infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration and support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency administering Windows Server environments supporting enterprise or production workloads
- Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Hands-on experience with SCCM for patching, deployments, and system management
- Experience administering VMware-based Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting PowerShell scripting, automation, and clustered or high-availability Windows platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation practices
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, CIS benchmarks, or enterprise production environments
