Job Summary
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for enterprise IT infrastructure. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in large-scale environments while overseeing patch management, storage solutions, and virtualization platforms like Nutanix. Troubleshoot complex system issues, respond to incidents, and execute disaster recovery planning and migrations. Develop system documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure design and implement security protocols including access control and vulnerability remediation. This role supports the newly merged Epsilon, Inc. and AMERICAN SYSTEMS organization, requiring a Secret clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility and 5+ years of systems administration experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration
- hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux environments
- current 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification
- Advanced technical expertise in server administration, domain management, and infrastructure planning
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in large-scale environments
- Strong experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms
- Skilled in storage management, including SAN and NAS solutions, and backup/recovery operations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform for system configuration and management
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk for system performance monitoring
- Experience with Git for version control
- Knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST, FISMA, or DISA STIG compliance
- Must be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on diagnosing and resolving complex system issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
