Job Summary
Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 help desk support by responding to and resolving user-submitted tickets in a timely manner. Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and peripheral equipment while troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Perform routine system administration tasks including account provisioning, access management, and patching, and document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures in the ticketing system. Support onboarding and offboarding of users, escalate complex technical issues to senior administrators, and assist with system monitoring, backups, and routine maintenance. Ensure compliance with security policies and accreditation requirements such as RMF and NIST 800-53. Requires an Active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification, and 5 years of experience with a BS/BA.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years with BS/BA
- 3 years with MS/MA
- 0 years with PhD
- Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance required with the ability to obtain a polygraph
- DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification (e.g., Security+) or ability to obtain within [X] days of hire
- Working knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and Active Directory
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting classified or restricted-access systems
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.)
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled or data-intensive program environments
- ITIL Foundation certification
