Job Summary
Systems Administrator role responsible for administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of BetterHealth IT systems and applications, including server infrastructure, Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Intune, and Remote Monitoring and Management systems. Works to support and optimize enterprise collaboration, endpoint management, and infrastructure platforms; develops automation scripts (PowerShell and batch); administers Atlassian products and related plugins; provides on-call support; ensures reliability, security, and performance of critical business systems; conducts vulnerability assessments and remediation; creates and maintains documentation for server build and application management; researches and recommends infrastructure and application improvements; monitors and triages tickets and project requests; collaborates with teams in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of Linux and Windows server management experience
- Experience with AWS preferred
- Experience with Confluence and Jira preferred
- Experience working in the nonprofit sector preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent writing and oral communications skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, including handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent situations during non-standard hours
