Job Summary
Systems Administrator/Engineer for a Federal Government contractor with operations in Indiana and across the United States. The role requires 7+ years of experience as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Cyber Architect, and involves designing and configuring networks (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, VLANs) on bare metal and virtualized systems, plus automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management. Experience with open-source tools such as Ansible and Python, virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Xen), and Windows and Linux server administration is required, along with knowledge of vulnerabilities and mitigations. The role also involves technologies including camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices, and requires a Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Cyber Architect, or similar experience
- Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems
- Automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management
- Open-source platform experience with applications such as Ansible, Python, and other open-source applications
- Hypervisors such as VMware, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), and Xen
- Windows enterprise and Linux server / operating systems engineering, and administration with knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation
- Wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, Internet of Things (IoT), and RF devices
- Secret Clearance Required
