Job Summary
Administers, maintains, and troubleshoots servers, network operating systems, backup systems, and production databases; performs data center operations and backup management; manages server assets (physical and virtual); monitors backups/restores; collaborates with engineers to diagnose hardware; documents status, procedures, and plans; participates in 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional evenings; telecommuting authorized with 90% remote / 10% on-site in Centennial, CO; deployment to Antarctica may be possible at management discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 4 years experience
- Microsoft Windows Server experience required
- Basic networking, Windows and MS Office knowledge is a must
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Documentation writing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment
