Job Summary
Support and improve network infrastructure across 28+ locations by working hands-on with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless networks to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues. Own the implementation of cybersecurity tools including endpoint protection, email security, MFA, and Conditional Access while driving hardening and vulnerability remediation. Use AI and scripting to automate routine tasks and administer enterprise AI tools alongside Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management. Provision hardware for new and existing locations, assist with store acquisitions, and provide Tier 2/3 support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for critical after-hours support and ensure backups and recovery processes are tested.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration
- Strong hands-on networking experience (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and real-world implementation
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
- Comfortable supporting multiple locations and jumping between priorities
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- A genuine interest in using AI and automation to do the job better
- Willingness to travel 10–15% and work occasional scheduled Saturdays during major go-lives
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting retail, dealership, or other multi-location environments
- Experience with acquisitions or large-scale rollouts
- Familiarity with Intune or endpoint management platforms
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell a plus)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to write scripts, speed up troubleshooting, or automate workflows
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft
