Job Summary

Systems Administrator responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications; manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs; monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance and upgrades to ensure reliability; conduct regular backups and implement data recovery plans; collaborate with IT to design and implement security measures; provide technical support to end-users; develop and maintain documentation; evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency; manage user accounts and access levels across systems and applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration roles, preferably in a complex IT environment
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and server technologies
  • Experience with network protocols, security, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud computing, and storage systems
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access control
