Job Summary
Respond to technical support requests by documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues to ensure timely resolution. Add and maintain network users while assigning application access and verifying security configurations. Investigate alerts, service interruptions, and performance problems, escalating to senior personnel or external providers when necessary. Support information security practices including access control, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and incident response. Install workstations, servers, and applications according to schedule, and participate in projects such as system upgrades and infrastructure improvements. Perform off-hours and remote work as required, including participation in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency support. Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems, applications, and services to provide high-level user support.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Solid Understanding Network Concepts (OSI model, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Desktop and End User Device Troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including documentation and process development
- Cisco / Meraki Network Administration including Firewall, Routers, Switches, Access Points, and Remote Access
- Cloud based Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra, Google, Cisco Duo, etc.)
- Fortinet Security Appliances
- N-Able RMM / PDQ Inventory / PDQ Deploy
- NICE SmartReach / Livevox Contact Center Platform
- Microsoft On-Prem Environment Implementation and Administration including Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, IIS, SQL, and Powershell
- Physical Security Solutions (Video Insight, Verkada, dnaFusion, etc.)
- Rapid7 InsightDR / InsightVM
- Veeam Backup and Recovery Administration
- VMWare ESXI Hypervisor Administration including vCenter with PURE Storage
- Zoom PBX and Collaboration Tools
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred or related work experience
