Systems Administrator - Active Security Clearance

Job Summary
Provide timely desktop and access administration support while resolving hardware, software, and performance issues for customers using mainframes, LANs, PCs, and printers. Interact with users on-site to diagnose technical problems across multiple operating environments, including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Skype, ensuring security standards are met. Perform physical setup and configuration of desktop hardware, coordinate projects with service providers, and manage access requests for project-specific applications and databases. Maintain user account management and server administration while following through on assigned tasks with competing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly
- Bachelor's degree preferred, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience specific to the skill
- Thorough knowledge of Windows based PCs and common peripherals
- Thorough knowledge of the standard application suites, (e.g. Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Skype, etc.)
- Ability to identify and resolve technical problems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with SIP and PBX technology
- Considerable knowledge of standard desktop hardware and software
- Ability to successfully plan, coordinate, track, and execute multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Knowledge of information security technologies and security guidelines
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to explain rules, procedures and technical information clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated ability to follow-through on assigned tasks
- Ability to execute multiple tasks in an independent manner
- Knowledge of server administration, maintenance, and user account management
- Willingness to get hands dirty, move equipment and capable of lifting 20 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with poly with most recent BI/Poly dates within the last five year
