Job Summary
Systems Account Manager responsible for developing long-term customer relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners, delivering total HVAC solution value focused on energy-efficient buildings. Responsibilities include project take-off, proposal pricing, and selling strategy; integrating equipment, controls, and services; providing HVAC system solutions with financial and performance considerations; identifying customer needs and market opportunities; assembling acquisition teams and converting leads; developing account-specific business plans to foster profitable partnerships; assisting customers with technical questions on HVAC systems and Trane products; and visiting customers as needed. Required 4+ years of experience or a BA/BS, strong communication, relationship-building, entrepreneurial drive, ability to close, and solid organizational/time-management skills; must hold a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
- 2+ years experience of solution sales experience
- Driver License, valid and in state, with minimum 12 months of tenure and clean record
- Ability to visit customers
- Proven ability to develop and execute account plans
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to close sales and manage multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree accepted; candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply
