Job Summary
Administer and develop all infrastructure components of the global Eppendorf developer network while ensuring their operational readiness. Act as system owner for central CI systems like GitLab and Artifactory and manage DevNet-related authentication systems such as LDAP. Define and manage infrastructure components based on the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach using Ansible. Provide support and training for all DevNet users, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485 and cybersecurity initiatives. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in applied or technical computer science and have significant experience in Unix/Linux systems and DevOps architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a specialist in application development or system integration or a completed bachelor's/master's degree in applied or technical computer science
- At least three years of experience in configuration and administration of Unix/Linux-based server and PC systems
- Experience in the setup and operation of DevOps architectures
- Strong service orientation
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible or Terraform
- Practical knowledge of DevOps and GitOps principles
- Know-how in project management and agile methods
