Job Summary
Manage and develop the Data and Reporting Platform for storage, analysis, and data sharing across the agency. Handle database management, including SQL Server, and connect new data sources while troubleshooting, updating, and monitoring data pipelines. Proactively propose technical solutions to improve platform performance and act as a liaison for stakeholders during new IT solution implementations. Collaborate with the team to further develop the existing data lake, structuring and simplifying data retrieval and usage workflows. Ensure the Hadoop/Cloudera platform evolves to ingest additional data from new sources while maintaining optimal reporting and analysis accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant university or college education in computer science, systems science, systems development, or an equivalent vocational education in IT, or equivalent experience or competence acquired in another way as deemed equivalent by Svenska kraftnät
- Several years of work experience in handling databases, e.g., SQL Server
- Experience working with databases in development or production environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Linux environments with scripting
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Kafka, Python, ETL, Git, integration, machine learning, system administration, security and testing
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Swedish citizenship (in certain positions)
- Obligation to be mobilized for war
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of handling big data solutions based on clusters, e.g., Hadoop
- Good experience of optimizing SQL and data flows as well as operational stability
- Experience of tools for ticket management, version management, artifact management as well as continuous integration and deployment, e.g., Azure DevOps
- Good experience of command line work via e.g. Bash or PowerShell
- Experience of DevOps and/or DataOps
