Job Summary
System Vulnerability Analyst responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and potential attacks on government systems, producing formal and informal reports and briefings, and presenting perspectives on actual and potential attacks. Must analyze existing architecture, relate vulnerabilities to system effects, compare attack techniques, and develop countermeasures. Requires experience in vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and/or computer forensics, with related education in CS or a related field. TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required. Eligible candidates may have training in JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, or Cyber Defense Operations. Salary range $110K-$220K; locations include Annapolis Junction, MD; Augusta, GA; San Antonio, TX; Oahu, HI; and other locations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree must be in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security).
- Completion of military training in JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, Cyber Defense Operations will be considered towards experience (course credits).
- Entry level requires an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience must be in vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and/or computer forensics.
- May include computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, systems engineering, and/or network and/or system administration.
