System Testing Engineer/ Team Leader – Self-Driving

Job Summary
Develop and implement master test plans, build and scale automation testing frameworks from scratch, and manage test environments for lab and vehicle track validation. Lead both automation and manual testing activities, run regression scripts for new functionality, and support data collection and vehicle testing. Collaborate with customer teams on multiple projects to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria align with established processes, while independently assessing project risks and developing mitigation steps. Assist in defining quality standards and procedures to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with software or system level testing
- Experience with sensor based testing like cameras
- Experience in deriving automated testcases (C++, python etc)
- Good experience on creating and performing tests on system level or vehicle level
- Basic understanding of GITLAB, JIRA, Jenkins etc
- Long term thinking, stable and scalable design & continuous improvement skills
- Enjoying new challenges and innovative technologies
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and/or experience in with SW/System testing or vehicle testing environments
- Experience in automotive industry and test development
- Experience with Agile software engineering methodology
- Ability to travel to support occasional test drives – in Hanoi, Vietnam

Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in self-driving or ADAS development
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF)
