System Technician

System Technician responsible for the construction and maintenance of Rogers' outside plant network across Powell River, BC, including installation of Xfinity products/services (Internet, Home phone, TV/streaming), providing in-home support and education to customers, diagnosing and repairing coaxial/fiber components, operating field test equipment (system analyzers, field strength meters, TDR, locators), maintaining accurate work-order records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer-impacting issues. Must be able to work outdoors year-round, handle physical tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing), be available for varied shifts (evenings, weekends, on-call), and comply with background/security checks. Up to 10% travel may be required; a valid driver license is required; some provinces may require a security worker license.
