Job Summary
Monitor Job Scheduling, execution, and performance using Fortra Robot software, and respond to job failures or alerts by documenting findings and resolving issues. Utilize SCOM and SolarWinds tools to track server, network, and enterprise environments, ensuring tickets are opened and escalated as required. Manage system objects within IBM Power Systems, including subsystems and job queues, while performing IPLs and confirming start/completion times. Track and update problem tickets and change orders in FreshService based on SLA and operational impact, and escalate system issues regarding CPU, memory, and disk utilization. Provide escalation status notifications for service-impacting events and assist in preparing incident reports for internal and external communication.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years' Network Operations Center experience with problem monitoring and escalation of problems within the environment
- Knowledge of IT/Helpdesk software
- Excellent communication skills necessary to facilitate the understanding of technical issues for non-technical customers
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software tools
- Experience using a Problem Logging/Tracking Software package
- Boston, MA Headquarters location
