Job Summary
Maintain and repair the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network from the Hubsite/OTN cabinet to passive network devices and subscriber ports; perform testing and balancing of FTTH/PON/HFC systems using SLM, VOM, OTDR, optical power meter, and spectrum analyzer; perform basic DC wiring, troubleshoot light/RF/AC/DC transmission issues, conduct routine OLT setup and balancing, assist with underground and aerial PON work, restore fiber outages, and ensure FCC/NESC/OSHA standards compliance; requires ability to work flexible hours and hold a valid state driver’s license. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of network components, field testing, documentation, and collaboration with team to support engineering and operations in a fast-paced telecom environment.
