Job Summary
System Support-Staff providing on-site IT support at Utah Valley Hospital; responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, networks, and related devices, installing/configuring end-user workstations, resolving service desk incidents, adhering to enterprise standards, and assisting in security policy implementation with travel between Intermountain facilities. Requires collaboration with higher-level technical staff, travel between facilities, and strong fundamentals in troubleshooting, networking, Active Directory, data privacy, and standard office software. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM MT, with on-site duties at the Provo, Utah location.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in computer science or management information systems OR two years experience in a system support or related technical field
- Demonstrated understanding of troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of data privacy practices and laws
- Demonstrated basic understanding of networking fundamentals and Active Directory
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of industry standard word processing and spreadsheet software
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of industry standard email systems
- Must be able to travel to and from various Intermountain facilities
