Job Summary
As a Graduate Engineer in the System Solution Team, you will contribute to validating Dyson’s next-generation products, ensuring seamless software and electronic hardware integration. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop and execute test strategies that validate features, performance, and robustness across configurations, and you will build automated test solutions using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, National Instruments DAQ, and Python. You will run manual and automated tests, analyze data, and translate real system behavior insights into improved testing approaches. The role emphasizes hands-on learning through Dyson’s two-year graduate programme, with opportunities to explore new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies, and to develop a strong understanding of system-level validation within a cross-functional engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, with exposure to system-level thinking and problem-solving
- Familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., Python) and an interest in automation or test development
- Basic knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, or software-hardware integration through academic projects or internships
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and troubleshoot technical issues
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership towards quality and reliability
