Job Summary
Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, and databases. Analyze design requirements to determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on overall product architecture. Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation; identify and debug code issues while creating solutions for integration into the application architecture. Lead a project team of software systems engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with management and partners on software design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 5-9 years experience
- Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Designing software systems running on multiple platform types
- Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mastery in English and local language
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels
- Onsite work from an HPE office
