System Software Engineer – GPU and SOC (2027 RDSS Intern)

Job Summary
Design and verify features for next-gen GPU chips and new SoC platforms, defining, developing, and testing production kernel drivers and embedded software. Collaborate with hardware architects and system engineers to support early modeling, simulation, and firmware work for power management and performance tuning. Track these platforms through development to customer products while maintaining complex system-level build flows and debugging across Linux, Android, and Windows environments. This role requires a new BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with strong C/C++ skills and experience in x86, ARM, or SOC system platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Currently new BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent experience
- Strong C programming
- Strong C++

- Familiarity with computer system architecture
