Job Summary
Lead end-to-end cloud accounting for 10-20 clients, overseeing full-charge bookkeeping and finance processes (invoicing, bill-pay, payroll processing, monthly close, sales tax, year-end prep). Act as primary client contact, coach and mentor junior staff, review client books for errors, and help onboard new engagements. Bring multi-client experience, strong accrual accounting knowledge, and proficiency with QBO, BILL, and Gusto. This role is 100% remote in the US, requires five days per week within standard professional hours, and offers a base salary of $70,000-$78,000 plus quarterly bonuses; benefits include health/dental, 401k matching, PTO, and family leave.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of remote multi-client cloud accounting experience across multiple industries
- extensive experience running payroll, closing monthly books, and creating processes for cash and accrual-basis clients
- 4+ years in QBO, BILL, Gusto, and other common cloud accounting software
- higher-education accounting or finance degree; CPA firm/public accounting experience is a plus
- excellent communication and coaching skills; ability to mentor junior staff
- ability to work with a support team, delegate tasks, and manage client relationships
