Job Summary
Principal/Staff/Senior System Protection Engineer role focusing on advanced technical research and application of principles for protection systems. Acts as SME for assigned areas, leads major or multiple complex projects, contributes to development of procedures, codes and standards, and mentors engineers. Responsibilities include leading bid/evaluation processes, acting as advisor to management and customers on advanced projects, coordinating budgeting and work order management, and driving implementation from design through commissioning and assessment of protection schemes across facilities. Requires demonstrated technical leadership, ability to initiate self-directed assignments, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited curriculum; electrical engineering degree preferred or mechanical engineering degree with relevant engineering experience.
- EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) strongly preferred.
