Job Summary
Design & development of HVAC system and product/part qualification with cycle balancing and reliability. Lead project management activities for HVAC&R components and overall design, coordinate product development from concept to launch (concept, design reviews, validation, and product launch), collaborate with sourcing, supply chain and vendors for part development, and coordinate with sales/service/quality to address customer queries. Customize products per India business requirements, pursue VAVE for Light Commercial products, and upgrade products to meet regulatory requirements (BEE/QCO/other). Essential competencies include experience in product management across multiple life cycles, knowledge of refrigeration/air conditioning cycles and thermodynamics, sheet metal and plastic part design, CAD tools (ProE/Creo, AutoCAD), BOM/ECN/ECR processes, VAVE/cost reduction, FMEA and quality systems, and cross-functional teamwork. Strong communication, adaptability to an existing environment, and a focus on data-driven quality and best practices are expected. Benefits include competitive programs and development opportunities.
