Job Summary
Develop and implement tools, theories, skills, and knowledge of nursing professional development to improve evidence-based practice across MultiCare Health System. Practice as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, and champion for scientific inquiry while assessing practice gaps, identifying learning needs, and coordinating implementation of positive learning environments. Collaborate with Program Managers, Clinical Operational Managers, and Unit-Based NPD Specialists to support onboarding, competency management, continuing education, and role development. This role operates independently under limited supervision and requires a Master's or PhD in Nursing, an RN license in Washington State, and minimum four years of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- PhD in Nursing
- DNP
- ARNP
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Minimum four (4) years of nursing experience
- Minimum three (3) year Program management experience within an education role
- Minimum three (3) years previous experience as unit educator, system educator, NPD Specialist/Generalist
Desired Qualifications
- ANCC NPD specialty certification
- ANCC NPD specialty certification; if not in possession at time of hire, must acquire within two (2) years of hire
