Job Summary
System/Network Engineer for a brand-name marketing company with ~500 employees in a fast-paced, scrum/agile environment. Role requires strong IT operations experience, infrastructure security, and enterprise networking expertise. Key skills include Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, VMware virtualization, Cisco Routers, and overall LAN/WAN concepts across OSI layers. Knowledge of fiber and copper media, topologies, and exposure to Azure/Meraki and VoIP systems is a plus. Team size is 8, operating within a dynamic marketing-tech setting.
Required Qualifications
- Seven+ years of experience with IT operations
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security protocols
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange
- Virtualization experience with VMware
- Experience configuring Cisco Routers
- Experience with enterprise networking; Cisco & Aruba
- Windows 2012 Experience
- Advanced understanding of LAN, WAN, and networking concepts at all layers of the OSI model
- Knowledge of different topologies and network medias including single/multi mode fiber, copper
- CCNA certification; CCNP a plus
