Job Summary
Manage the Motorola PremierOne Records Management System exclusively for the Phoenix Police Department, acting as a liaison between the customer and support division. Oversee customer RMS systems, associated services, and interfaces while troubleshooting application issues involving hardware, network, and third-party components. Provide regular communication on work order progress, proactively identify internal efficiencies, and ensure adherence to operational protocols within the master service agreement. This on-site role requires 3+ years of public safety applications experience and functions within a high-security environment requiring a fingerprint background check.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Public Safety Applications experience
- Experience working with or deploying hardware and software solutions
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment that regularly requires the ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working both alone and in a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot application system issues including hardware, network, and third-party components
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload with minimal oversight
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (MCSA/MCSE skills)
- Experience with Public Safety Applications including CAD & RMS
- Experience with Virtualization software
- Experience with firewalls and routers
- Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- High School diploma, Bachelor's degree in General Studies, or Engineering, IT, or Technology
- Must be available for on-site work at the Phoenix Police Department's administration building in Phoenix Arizona
- Must be available for 10% travel
- Must be able to pass a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC and Ops Manager (SCOM)
- Experience with Network Load Balancing (NLB) and Clustering
- Experience with hardware blades and Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Motorola PremierOne RMS Experience or comparable RMS applications
- Proficiency in NIBRS incident base reporting
- Experience with .NET
