Job Summary
Virtually place automated robotic systems in a manufacturing facility using CAD software, including FactoryCAD, and develop comprehensive zone and system layouts to optimize manufacturing processes. Ensure proper placement and reach of automotive and automated robotic systems to maximize efficiency and safety while collaborating with processing, robotic simulation, and design teams for seamless integration. Occasionally travel to customer facilities to provide on-site support and ensure successful implementation of layouts. This role requires experience in System Layout or Plant layout, preferably with automated robotic systems, and familiarity with AutoCAD 3D or 2D. The position involves working within the confines of the quality system and may include overtime as needed. Hybrid work is available after 90 days for eligible positions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in System Layout or Plant layout, preferably with automated robotic systems
- Experience designing utilizing AutoCAD 3D or 2D
- Familiarity with FactoryCAD
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a team player with strong collaborative skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
- All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system
- Occasionally travel to customer facilities to provide on-site support and ensure successful implementation of layouts
