Job Summary
Conduct site surveys, schedule installations, and perform system upgrades for Mindray's central station systems in hospital environments. Verify performance standards through comprehensive testing and provide advanced on-site support for complex technical issues beyond local service capabilities. Deliver after-hours phone support and coordinate system updates while maintaining detailed documentation for all service activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service Management and Clinical Education to ensure project milestones are met. This home-based field role requires approximately 70% travel to hospital sites, overnight stays, and weekend on-call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (minimum) or equivalent in electronics, instrumentation, or computer technology
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be available for overnight stays
- Must be available for occasional weekend or holiday on-call coverage
- Must be able to work 70% travel to hospital sites
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with telemetry or RF systems (minimum one year preferred)
- Strong technical skills in system design, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of monitoring systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities
