Job Summary
Travel LVN opportunity providing inmate healthcare across multiple CorrHealth facilities in CO, NM, TX, and WY. Under RN supervision, administer medications (including IV therapy when certified), assist in assessments and planning of care, perform EKGs, document care using SOAP notes, manage controlled substances, and triage healthcare requests. Requires full-time availability, weekly travel to designated sites, and a compact LPN/LVN license with CPR/BLS certification. Must live in one of the listed states for tax purposes and be willing to work flexible day/night shifts across seven days a week. Work environment is inside correctional facilities with adherence to HIPAA and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current and unrestricted compact license as LPN/LVN; must maintain license
- Willing to travel weekly
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current TB test (taken within one year)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug test
- Ability to travel to designated CorrHealth facilities weekly
- Ability to perform EKGs and IV therapy (when certified)
- Ability to administer medications and pharmacy procedures
- HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Able to work day/night shifts seven days a week
- Maintain certifications and licensure
