Job Summary
System Engineer / System Architect sought to help turn complex eye-tracking technology into scalable, robust system solutions. Collaborate across software, hardware, firmware, and algorithms to drive system design, translate customer needs into clear requirements and interfaces, identify risks and dependencies, and coordinate across internal and customer teams. Hands-on troubleshooting of prototypes and analysis of system behavior as needed. Strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, architecture decisions, and understanding trade-offs among performance, cost, complexity, robustness, usability, and delivery speed. Location in Stockholm, Sweden with a 60/40 hybrid work policy; background in embedded software, Linux, electronics, firmware, algorithms, computer vision, sensors/optronics, mechatronics, or related domains is valuable, with experience in XR/wearables and eye-tracking being a strong plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with complex HW/SW product development and system integration
- Background in embedded software, Linux, electronics, firmware, algorithms, computer vision, sensors/optronics, mechatronics, or complex system integration
- Ability to reason about trade-offs between performance, cost, complexity, robustness, usability, and delivery speed
- Comfortable reviewing logs, prototypes, specifications, architecture diagrams, and test results
- Experience working cross-functionally in structured engineering environments
- Strong communication skills with customers and technical teams
- Experience in XR, wearable technology, eye tracking or related sensing technologies is a plus
- International work experience is a plus
